A Simple Guide

Caring for your Himalayan Salt Lamp is simple. Here are some tips to help you get the best from this precious lamp. 

1. Make sure you put your lamp in a dry environment. The bathroom is damp area and will dissolve the salt. 

2. Your Himalayan Salt Lamp should be lit up with a 15 w to 25 w bulb. This wattage will provide enough heat to activate the lamp, producing the negative ions needed to purify the air. 

3. Dust and gently wipe Lamp with damp cloth for cleaning. 

4. Unusual hand carved lamps will come with imperfections. Points, tails, ears, noses can chip very easily. Handle the Lamp with care. Some are Heavy so place them where they will not fall or tip over. 

5. The lamp will purify the air of dandruff, allergens. Sometimes the air can be over Purified or can make you lightheaded. If this is an issue reduce the wattage of the bulb to 15 watts.
